Half price train tickets
I can't see a post about it anywhere but if there is apologies for posting again. If anyone is buying the abellio season tickets for west ham next season they're on sale now despite the official site saying they go on sale on august 1. Its probably, so you can use them for the juventus game which attracts free travel.
Just bought one for me and my boy and was really simple to do.

Greater Anglia are a joke, rival West Ham for being run in a two bob fashion...

Re: Half price train tickets
But, as I said last month, no trains at weekends from September to December.

http://www.westhamonline.net/forum_flat.php?8450982|a0

From 17th September, there will be no trains to London through Shenfield for 8 consecutive weekends.

So all the joy of easier transport access to the ground is removed at a stroke. Buses to Newbury Park instead.

Even greater disruption planned for post Christmas, I understand.

Re: Half price train tickets
this was actually raised by someone at an SAB a few months back. They'd been talking to the train company who told them they wanted to offer a discount (like they did for another club) but couldnt get through to anyone at west ham to talk about it.

funny how west ham are now making the offer eh?

Re: Half price train tickets
Anyone temped to get one for their kids bear in mind that everything west of and including Shenfield is Oyster Card friendly and i doubt these half price jobs will be a better deal than an 11-16 Oyster card.

They can't do anything without bullshitting someone somewhere can they?

Maybe it's just a big game they play to see where and how they can get the bullshit in?

Re: Half price train tickets
I think its just abellio, its not something the club did despite what they claim. They're doing the same deal for Norwich, Ipswich and Spurs.

Re: Half price train tickets
Do we know if C2C will be doing anything for match days? I know they do straight lines to Stratford at weekends. Wonder if they will do same for games at the OS?

Re: Half price train tickets
did it online. I don't know whether you get one ticket covering all the games or single tickets but said it should be with me in 3-5 days.

Did you go into the station to get it sorted or online?
